What is Autism?
Autism is also known as ASD. The full form of ASD is autism spectrum disorder.

Autism typically appears during the first two years of life.

Causes of Autism
If there is a history of autism in the family, then the chances of getting it increases.
Autism is more common in boys.
Preterm babies have increased chances of autism. The baby is born in the 7th month or 8th month.
I have seen in my clinical practice, which I have been doing since 1997, that many times after vaccination autism triggers.
Symptoms of Autism
- Children with autism have social impairments and show less attention to social stimuli and smiles. Autistic children do not respond to their name; they have no eye contact.
- Some autistic children are aggressive, destructive and show tantrums.
- Speech development gets delayed in autism. Instead of answering autistic children simply repeat what others are saying. Children point and make gestures instead of talking.
- Autistic children are very restless and they cannot sit for long at one place.
