What is Varicocele, Causes & Symptoms?
There are veins in our scrotum. The function of these veins is to regulate the blood supply of testicles.
In varicocele basically there is swelling of these veins and the patient has a feeling of bag of worms in the scrotum.
Varicocele feels like a soft, elastic swelling which is painful.
As valves are present in water pipes the same way there are valves in the veins.
When these valves get damaged or defective then blood starts accumulating in the veins and veins become swollen.
Varicocele causes decrease in the quality and quantity of the sperm because of which infertility can happen.
Varicocele can be easily diagnosed with USG Doppler scrotum.
Allopathy Treatment
When a varicocele patient consults an allopathic doctor, he advises surgery because there is no medicine for varicocele in allopathy.
Various complications can occur due to surgery like: Hematoma, Hydrocele, Infection, Injury to Scrotum & Artery.
I have seen in my clinical practice, which I have been doing since 1997, that after surgery only 10% of patients will benefit in sperm quality and quantity.
Homeopathy Treatment
Homeopathy works very well for mild to moderate cases of varicocele.
Our medicines strengthen the veins and their valves.
Medicines slowly relieve circulation of testes and the patient’s sperm quality and quantity increases.
Pain and swelling of scrotum reduce gradually.
According to me a patient should consult a good homeopathy doctor as soon as possible for treatment because once varicocele becomes chronic then its treatment becomes very difficult.
I have seen in my practice that symptoms of varicocele start decreasing within 2 to 4 months of treatment. For complete cure of varicocele, it takes about one to one and a half year.
Number of Medicines
There are around 29 medicines in homeopathy for varicocele.
Now which of these medicines are to be given, in how much potency, how many times in a day – this is a complicated process which only a highly qualified and experienced doctor can do.
A sensible doctor never prescribes on the name of the disease varicocele. He takes the complete history of the patient; then studies his symptoms properly.
After this, he selects the medicines keeping in mind the susceptibility of the patient and decides upon the potency and repetition of medicines.
“Homeopathy is not readymade, it is tailormade.”
While treating varicocele I prescribe for one month and then review the patient.
Every month the case is studied again, thereby finetuning the medicines and their potencies.
How much improvement you get in varicocele depends upon your choice of doctor. These days KYC is done in banks; I think patients should also do KYD – Know Your Doctor.
Name of Medicines?
Friends, in this blog I have not named any medicines, nor I have promoted medicines of any company; because by doing so I will be playing with your health and may harm you. A sane doctor will never do this.
